Samuel Pepys

An important public official in 17th Century London, Pepys helped to organise and run the English navy. He also kept a secret diary from 1660 to 1669, where he was surprisingly honest about his personal thoughts and private life. The diary includes his first hand accounts of the Great Plague and the Great Fire of London. The Fediverse account divides the diary into chunks which are posted in estimated real time.
