Research establishment in Göttingen, Germany which studies all the bodies that make up our solar system including the Sun, the planets, the asteroids etc. The Institute develops scientific instruments that are sent into space on ESA and NASA missions.

LeonardiBot

Immunology researcher Anthony J. Leonardi was one of the first to warn about the damage COVID-19 causes to the immune system, but his posts use very obscure terms. LeonardiBot is trying to remedy the situation by translating them into plain English.

(This is not an actual bot, the name is just humorous. The translations are done manually by a human being who understands the source material.)

European Investment Bank (EIB)

European Union fund which provides loans and guarantees to projects involved with development, climate change and the environment, infrastructure and small and medium businesses. Its aim is to promote the policy goals of the EU, and operates both within the EU and elsewhere. It focuses on projects that have difficulty getting loans within their own country.

(Note: Despite the similar names, this is not the European Central Bank which manages the Euro currency.)

Snikket

XMPP-based free open federated messenger project. It aims to make XMPP into a more viable alternative to Whatsapp etc by providing consistency in design and terminology, while still maintaining compatibility with other XMPP apps and servers. (It’s a similar plan to how Mastodon made ActivityPub more mainstream while still being compatible with other ActivityPub server types.)
